Audience Strategy Supports NGLC 2013

The New Generation Latino Consortium (NGLC) is an annual conference created to disseminate critical new information about the Latino market as it relates to media, marketing and entertainment. NGLC 2013 hosted multiple panels and group discussions with the goal of facilitating dialogue around the authentic representation of Latinos in the aforementioned areas. The event saw a number of passionate pleas from attendees, advocating for the entertainment industry to perpetrate change both on- and off-camera.

Last year, Fox Audience Strategy was the inaugural title sponsor which brought together cross-divisional presidents from Fox Broadcasting Company, 20th Century Fox Television Distribution, Fox Hispanic Media, MundoFox, senior executives from Fox Sports/Deportes, community leaders representative of the New Generation Latino as well as talent, marketing executives, journalists and bloggers.

This year, Fox hosted “The Bridge Sit-Down” panel with FX President John Landgraf and star of FX’s The Bridge Demian Bichir. Landgraf and Bichir gave insightful commentary on emerging Latino presences in the entertainment industry and discussed how shows like FX’s The Bridge are driving shifts in the perceptions and representations of the Latino community.
